The Oklahoma City Thunder had a great year in 2015-16.  They went 55-27 (67.1%) during the regular season and 11-7 (61.1%) in the playoffs.  They gave it everything they had in the Western Conference Finals before falling in seven games to the Golden State Warriors.

TEAM MVPKevin Durant, small forward – 27-year old Kevin Durant is still the best player on the Oklahoma City Thunder.  He played in 72 games (all starts) for the Thunder last year and he averaged 35.8 minutes, 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.2 blocked shots per game.  He shot 50.5% from the floor, 38.6% from three point range and 89.8% from the free throw line in 2015-16.  He had 27 Double-Doubles and 1 Triple-Double in 2015-16.  After February 1st, Durant played in 30 games (all starts) in which he averaged 35.6 minutes, 29.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.2 blocked shots per game.

MOST IMPROVEDSteven Adams, center – 22-year old Steven Adams was a tough guy this year for the Thunder.  He played in 80 games (all starts) for the Thunder in 2015-16 and he averaged 25.2 minutes, 8.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game.  He shot better from the floor (61.2%) than from the free throw line (58.2%) last year.  He had 6 Double-Doubles in 2015-16.  In his 13 games (all starts) in which he played more than 30 minutes, he averaged 33.5 minutes, 10.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENTRandy Foye, shooting guard – When the Thunder traded for 32-year old shooting guard Randy Foye at the trade deadline, they thought he would give them another dependable long range shooter……but he tanked for them.  Foye played in 27 games (1 start) for the Thunder in 2015-16 and he averaged 21.2 minutes, 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.  He only shot 34.9% from the floor and 30.9% from three point range for the Thunder.
